Coin Changes

Coin drop rate needs to be the same across all game modes. Having a large amount of coins enter the game significantly lessens the impact of shops acting as a gold sink. Also having a seperate coin generation for the regular mode just causes bonds/wishing well to be unbuyable for ironman/HCIM/hardmode. There is no reason to have seperate coin generation.

  • Reduce coin drop amount on regular mode by 4x so it's the same as iron/hardmode.
  • Reduce well cost to 7.5m to activate (this would be 4x less since regular mode is currently 4x more coins than ironman).
  • Reduce item trade guide prices by 4x
  • Change Regular mode shop prices to the same as Ironman/HCIM/Hardmode shop prices.



Item Changes

Certain item rates need to be changed to encourage trading.

  • Make wild barrows slayer only again
  • Remove the barrows armor from the shops
  • Change sinister key rate for a barrows item to 13%
  • Change Regular barrows to 75% chance for 1 item, 25% chance for 2 items, 5% chance for 3 items
  • Change regular loots from barrows from 5k runes/bolt racks at a time to 100-200 runes at a time
  • Reduce the amount of runes gained from Raids from 6k at a time to 500-1.5k
  • Reduce the amount of arrows gained from Raids to 500-1.5k at a time

  • Change DWH droprate for regular mode from 1/2500 to 1/750.
  • Change Sigil droprates for regular mode to 1/250 for Arcane/Spectral & 1/750 for elysian
  • Change Demonic Gorilla's to drop Light & Heavy ballista instead of the seperate parts. Light on a 1/300 rate and heavy on a 1/500 rate

  • Remove Prayer Scrolls from the boss shop
  • Make item prices at pest control 3x less than they currently are, Takes too long.
  • Put Void Set in vote shop for 40 tickets
  • Put Fire Cape in vote shop for 15 tickets
  • Change Clue box so it only gives hard/elite/master clues.


PVP Changes

There can't exist a world where Pkers can be self sufficient through the Blood Money shop and at the same time expect PVMers to PVM for money. In an ideal economy PVMers are supposed to be the ones bringing the items in and it should be the Pkers buying those items.

So the idea here would be to make it so pkers have a higher coin income than PVMers from the emblems (highest in the game), however Pkers would no longer be able to self sufficiently introduce PVM items into the game. It means PVMers actually have people they can sell items too & pking items get a value instead of being worthless.

  • Remove all the regular drops & statuettes from revenents. The only items on their drop table should be the PVP items.
  • Remove all of the PVM related items from the Blood Money shop
  • Lower the Coin exchange for emblem to 2x osrs (It's at 4x at the moment). It'd be 100k for Tier 1, 10m for Tier 10
  • Remove PK Supply Crates



GE/Player Owned shops

Not a fan of the GE (don't think anybody is). No RSPS playerbase is ever going to be big enough for a GE system to work, player owned shop is all around just better

  • Remove GE Completely
  • Add an item searching feature for player owned shops



Coin Sinks

  • Remove item imbuing from the vote shop and instead place it in another shop which requires imbuing via coins (5m coins)
  • Add trident/trident of swamp charging with runes
  • Add barrows degrading
  • Make Kraken whip degrade (1m coins repair cost)


Item Sinks

Need to add some major item sinks to clear out all of the hoarded items.

  • Add a new currency to the rares shop seperate from coins/platinum tokens. This new currency would become the only way to buy rares from the shop.

    The only way to obtain this new currency would be by either selling rare items to the wise old man, or by purchasing it with platinum tokens. There would be no way to convert this currency back into platinum tokens/coins/items. This currency should also be tradeable.


  • Rare Items should be able to be sold to the blood money shop for BM (only do this if you remove the other items from the BM shop like i previously said).

    This would become the best way for players to obtain Clue Scrolls/Skilling supplies


  • Add an NPC which takes Rare items in exchange for a roll at Bloodhoun pet

    So you could use items on this NPC and whenever the total value of items hes taken exceeds a certain amount he'd give you a roll at the Bloodhoun pet.


  • Add a new drop rate/exp boost of 1.2x for 24 hours which players can individually unlock for themselves by donating 15m total in value of coins/items.



Other Things

  • Change Mystery Boxes so the chance of a super good item is much lower (should be about 1/8)
  • Changed the shared drop system so that only 1 player per game mode gets any loot from the boss.
