You don't get it. Advertisement won't do anything without a reset. A reset would allow ALL OLD banned players to return and new players to play. You'd need to reset and release a 2-3 month beta period where you fix existing content whilst adding new content. During this time, you create a hype in discord by doing discord invite competitions for irl money or 07 GP. The hype for a reset would allow you to get 200-600 players on release, IF done properly. Who would want to join an rsps where everyone practically has every max set? As a new player who looked at an advertisement banner or video relating to battlescape, I know I wouldn't play. It just makes the regular mode ironman and doesn't create an actual economy where people trade. A reset will fix this problem, if done properly. It was clear when palidino created w2 and got 100-200 players but his lack of will to do updates is what brought the server down. But now, he has a second developer to help him, speeding things up. Both developers have lost the will to put out consistent updates and advertisements and witnessing it hasn't helped them at all.
